Great Barracuda vsGoliath Tigerfish vs

Fish fights are always tough to do because, well, theres not much more either combatant can do than bite. Also this fight could never occur naturally because the Barracuda lives in salt water, while the tigerfish is found in the fresh water of the Congo River in Africa. Both of these fish have nasty reputations for their willingness to take a bite out of anything.

The Great Barracuda often grows over 6 ft long and can weigh up to 100 lbs. It has a very large mouth with two sets of razor sharp teeth that can measure up to 1 inch in length. However, speed may be the barracuda's greatest attribute in this fight. In a short burst it can reach speeds of 27 mph!

The Goliath Tigerfish is one of mother nature's scariest loodescribe the imageking creatures. It is armed to the gills with 32 razor-sharp teeth that can reach well over an inch in length. Goliath Tigerfish can reach 6.5 ft and weigh in at 125 lbs. Tigerfish are known to be cannibals as well and will fight each other in the wild.

These fish are both legendary for their ferocity but in a one on one battle, I would have to take the Tigerfish as the victor.

The tigerfish would win because of the heavy scales protecting it but would lose if it ate the barracuda because the meat of an adult barracuda is poisonous.

I have seen Barracuda feed on dead & live fish while diving & it is just unreal how fast they come into view, snatch a six inch mouth full & disappear, only to come in from a different direction & take another chunk & be gone again. The fish are comparable in size(within a foot & 15lbs). The T/Fish looks menacing with larger teeth & are known to have tough scaling, but the Cuda's ability to use speed with both defense & offense makes him a winner. Cudas have been found in brackish river outlets, so it's possible these two could meet. Someone mentioned them being poisonous, but this has not been proven. To my knowledge, only the "Great Barracuda" has been tied to a type of poison & many of the more than twenty varieties are edible & are served in restaurants around the world.
